The bridge is under construction in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, and elementary school students drew their dreams for the future on the floor that will not be visible after completion.

Around Mabi-cho, Kurashiki City, which was severely damaged by the heavy rains in western Japan four years ago, large-scale hydraulic engineering work has been underway for three years.

On the 16th, about 60 people, including all the children of Yanaihara Elementary School in the city, visited the construction site and actually got on an aerial work platform to observe the construction.

After this, children will have time to draw their dreams for the future on the floor of the bridge under construction, which is scheduled to be completed in August, and children will use pens of various colors to pianists and athletes. I was drawing my own dream.

A 6th grade girl said, "I drew a picture of myself becoming a novelist and writing a manuscript in the future. I'm happy because it will be a memorial."

Nobuyuki Fukushima, a company that builds the bridge, said, "I'm glad I made something that will be memorable for the local children. Unless the bridge breaks, the children's dreams will remain on the bridge semi-permanently. I hope you will use it carefully. "

After this, asphalt will be paved on the pictures drawn by the children, and they will not be able to see them.
