The reporter learned from Sichuan Airport Group on the 15th that at 22:43 on June 14, 2022, Air Belgium flight KF886 (Chengdu Shuangliu via Almaty to Brussels, all-cargo aircraft) was interrupted by the crew due to a fire alarm during the take-off roll. And voluntarily exit the runway and slide into the taxiway.
Shuangliu Airport quickly started emergency rescue. After detailed investigation by firefighters and maintenance personnel, no abnormality was found in the aircraft and cargo, and the people and machines were safe. The airline is further checking and troubleshooting the aircraft.
At present, Shuangliu Airport is operating normally.
