Expulsion of migrants from the United Kingdom to Rwanda: "We are in a display policy"

The British government is preparing to deport the first migrants who arrived illegally in the United Kingdom to Rwanda.

He aims to deter illegal Channel crossings, which are on the rise despite his repeated promises to control immigration since Brexit.

This controversial project, which recalls the policy of "externalization" of asylum led by Australia and other countries, has been validated by the British justice.

The latter rejected at first instance and then on appeal last-minute appeals formulated in particular by associations to try to stop departures.
