Attractive reward for "releasing 100 cockroaches in your house"

An American pest and rodent control company has announced that it wants to try new methods of controlling household pests, but by releasing 100 cockroaches into real and inhabited homes.

Because getting donors for this task would be so difficult, the company is offering homeowners a $2,000 reward for releasing 100 cockroaches into their homes to test experimental pest control methods.

According to UPI.

Pest Informer, based in North Carolina, announced that it is seeking 5-6 homeowners to allow the company to release about 100 American cockroaches into their homes to test new ways to get rid of this programmed infestation.

The trial will take 30 days, and the pest control team will use traditional methods to eliminate cockroaches if the experimental techniques prove unsuccessful.

The company said, "All tested cricket treatments will be safe for family and pets," and the company stipulated that "you should not try any additional cricket treatments during the study period."

The company said homeowners would get $2,000 for the trial.

And announced that applications for participation in the program are accepted until July 31, but only in the United States.
