An Egyptian sentenced to 10 years in prison for stealing a sewage cover

An Egyptian court has sentenced a citizen accused of stealing public utilities to 10 years in prison in absentia, after he stole a sewage cover on the street.

The investigations of the Dekheila Police Department’s detective officers revealed that the accused, a “carrier”, stole a sewage cover on a sinkhole on Ain Shams Street while riding a motorcycle, and searched and searched the motorbike.
