China News Service, Lanzhou, June 13 (Reporter Ding Si Li Yalong) After two years of planning and arranging, a special concert of "Qin Song Ya Yun Qin Yuan Ancient Poetry Songs" hosted by Lanzhou University Art College and Lanzhou University Chinese Poetry and Music Culture Research Center "On the evening of the 12th, it was staged at the Gansu Grand Theater, displaying and performing some precious ancient scores of "The Book of Songs", Yuefu, Tang poetry, Song Ci and Yuan opera, spanning more than 2,000 years of Chinese history, and presenting typical poetry and music works from the south of the Yangtze River to the borderland of Dunhuang.

Yo Yo Lu Ming, Ping Shi Ye, I have guests, drumming and playing the sheng... That night, Qin Yuan, director of the Vocal Research Office of the Music Performance Department of the Academy of Arts of Lanzhou University, combined years of academic research and teaching accumulation, with the piano song "Xiao Ya Deer" Ming" played and sang as the concert opening to welcome the audience.

In her opinion, "The qin is an instrument used by ancient literati for self-cultivation. Its identity in Chinese music culture is not only a musical instrument, but also a cultural symbol. The most important form of guqin music is qin songs."

Chinese classical poetry art has the cultural connotation of "multiple sources in one".

"Integration of poetry and music" and "song and poetry of the same origin" are typical characteristics of Chinese classical poetry art, and because "poetry and music" contains rich classical aesthetic tastes, it has important value in understanding the spirit of traditional Chinese art.

"Unfortunately, due to the disappearance and loss of ancient musical scores, the musical attributes of poetry have gradually weakened, and today it has become an unpopular secret." Qin Yuan said in an interview with a reporter from China News Agency on the 12th that it is fortunate that ancient Chinese musical scores The Fahe Guqin notation method preserves the records of the poems, lyrics and musical scores of the classic poems, which provides a reliable basis for infinitely approaching and restoring the true appearance of the "integration of poetry and music" in the classical era.

The concert consists of four parts: qin songs, ancient poems, Yuan songs, and the original vocal set "Twenty Songs of Dunhuang" (three of them).

In the part of ancient score poems, three ancient score poems and songs excavated, sorted and arranged by Professor Yang Sai of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and his team were selected as the singing repertoire.

"We also restored the classic singing form of 'Xianhe Song' in the Han and Wei Dynasties. According to the aesthetic expectations of modern people, the song adopts the performance form of male and female accompaniment, leading the crowd and presenting the poetry and music culture of a thousand years ago to the audience. "Qin Yuan said, looking forward to more young people who love ancient poetry and songs to participate in the performance, realize and inherit the spiritual power of traditional poetry and music culture.

The second half is composed of three pieces of Yuan Opera composed by the modern composer Mr. Gao Weijie, and three pieces of the vocal series "Twenty Songs of Dunhuang" composed by Yang Kun, a teacher from the Art School of Lanzhou University.

Among them, "Mogao Grottoes" was first sung by Qin Yuan, and in 2018, he participated in the "Jue Plan" (new creation of ancient songs) competition organized by Dunhuang Research Institute, Shanghai Academy of Arts, and Tencent, and won the gold award for the song.

The concert was chaired by Professor Liu Guizhen, director of the Chinese Poetry and Music Culture Research Center of Lanzhou University, as an academic advisor and a guided tour. More than 30 young and middle-aged teachers, graduate students and undergraduates from the School of Art of the school participated in the concert.

Liu Guizhen said that the concert brought the audience not only the audio-visual enjoyment of "the harmony of poetry and music", but also the profound thinking on how to inherit and develop China's excellent traditional culture.

The concert combines music and literature, which not only enables the audience to appreciate the "elegance" of poetry and the "beauty" of music, but also enriches the spiritual world. The true perception of Chinese excellent traditional culture has become a "practitioner" of the mission of inheriting and promoting the era of Chinese excellent traditional culture.

Inheriting and promoting the traditional Chinese poetry culture is the pursuit of the Chinese Poetry and Music Culture Research Center of Lanzhou University.

In October 2020, the center's three-year-long creation of the vocal suite "Twenty Songs of Dunhuang" held a work concert. Using modern composition techniques and performance methods, the center tried to interpret Dunhuang literature for the first time with vocal music.
