The interactive bulletin (12/6/2022) followed the statements of the organization concerned with tribal issues in the world, which said that the Tanzanian authorities want to force the Maasai tribes to leave their lands, after they decided to turn those lands into a reserve and sold them to the benefit of the UAE, specifically in favor of the Ortilo Business Cooperative. The Emirati company specialized in organizing fishing and tourism trips.

On its Twitter site, the organization published pictures of injured Maasai tribesmen who were shot by security forces while carrying out the forced eviction in favor of the Emirati company. The organization also published videos showing confrontations between the tribes and the authorities.

Activists on digital platforms launched the hashtag #No_To_Evacuate_the_Maasai_people, and "Stop the Evacuation of the Maasai people";

In solidarity with the tribesmen in the face of the government's efforts to evict them from their lands, activists transmitted through the two hashtags photos and videos showing part of the authorities' repression of the people's protests.

Among the reactions on social media platforms, activist Nyusi Wasi wrote, "Thousands of Maasai people in Tanzania are facing eviction from their ancestral lands to pave the way for an Emirati company specialized in organizing fishing trips and safari tourism for the Gulf bourgeoisie and the world's wealthy."

While Mubarak said, "The blame lies with the government of Tanzania. It cannot blame the UAE or anyone else for taking into account its interests."

"This is what the lust for tourism dollars by the Tanzanian government is doing to the Maasai of Ngorongoro with the violent eviction of their ancestral lands," wrote former Tanzanian parliamentarian and presidential candidate Tondo Liso. "Any Western government, or a protection agency, that supports the policies of the Tanzanian government will stain its hands with the blood of innocent Maasai."

As for Kenyan parliamentarian Olkina Ledama, he said, "The forced eviction of our Maasai people from their ancestral land in Tanzania is similar to what is happening in Ukraine. The world must condemn this in the strongest possible words, and indict the President of Tanzania."
