A special product "Akita butterbur" was harvested in Akita City, and the participating children were surprised at the taller "Akita butterbur" and tried to harvest it.

A girl in the third grade of elementary school who participated said, "I saw Akita butterbur for the first time. I was surprised at how big it was."
Mr. Ikuko Sato, who sponsored the event, said, "Since the number of farmers is decreasing, I would like to have children cut and cook Akita butterbur so that they can feel closer to them and preserve the tradition of Akita butterbur."
