On the morning of June 8, in Yiyang, Hunan, a truck accidentally crashed into a 3-meter-deep creek in Huaqiaogang Village, Xiushan Town, Taojiang, Yiyang. The situation was very critical.
Six party members including Wu Zhiyi, secretary of the general party branch of Huaqiaogang Village, who were inspecting the improvement of the living environment nearby, rushed to the scene immediately, jumped into the creek, used a steel drill to pry open the door, and slowly removed the injured and carried them to a stretcher. Together with the people on the shore, the injured were sent to the ambulance.
