There had to be a little drama at the wedding of Britney Spears!

The Princess of Pop said "I do" to her fiancé, Sam Asghari, during a ceremony at her home in California.

But a somewhat special individual crashed the party: Jason Alexander.

If this name means something to you, it's normal, it comes up regularly when talking about the turbulent period of the singer's life.

This is her first husband, a childhood friend whom she married in Las Vegas in 2004 on a whim, and whom she divorced… 55 hours later.

This union seems in any case to have particularly marked him, since he decided, this Thursday, to present himself at the door of his ex-wife, to be present at the ceremony.

After being excluded by security, he managed, without really understanding how or why, to enter the property of Britney Spears, as some of his subscribers could see on Instagram Live.

Muscular altercation

"She's my first wife, my only wife," he told security.

Of course, Jason Alexander was arrested, and even though he claims to have been invited by Britney Spears, the police clearly don't mean it that way.

He was arrested for four offences: trespassing, assault and battery, and vandalism.

“An altercation occurred with the security guards and that is where the assault and battery took place… And during the altercation an object was broken, that is where the vandalism comes in. And by being on private property, trespassing kicks in,” a Ventura County police spokesperson said.

Anyway, this episode did not disturb the festivities too much.

According to the BBC, Donatella Versace, who designed Britney Spears' wedding dress, was among the guests.

Madonna, Drew Barrymore, or even Paris Hilton also came.

As for the family of Britney Spears, only her brother had received an announcement.

His mother, father and sister were obviously not invited.

The singer's two sons, born of her relationship with Kevin Federline, were strangely absent.

They nevertheless sent their good wishes… through their father's lawyer.
