Europe: ban on sales of combustion engine cars in 2035

Top of the news in Accents du monde, the ban in Europe on the sale of new cars with thermal engines from 2035. This includes petrol and diesel cars, but also hybrids and LPG.

This decision of the European Parliament which must still be validated by the European Council of Ministers of the Environment at the end of the month.

If they do not agree, the 27 EU member states will have until the end of 2022 to reach a consensus.
