According to preliminary statistics, as of 19:00 on June 10, the "6.10" earthquake had affected 25,790 people in Malkang City to varying degrees, injured 4 people, and severely damaged roads, farm houses and other infrastructure; causing 25,000 people in Jinchuan County Affected to varying degrees, 24,808 people were transferred for emergency avoidance, and 37 households and 69 farm houses were generally damaged; 188 households and 198 houses were generally damaged in Hongyuan County, and many bridges and culverts were damaged.

The reporter saw in the city center of Malkang that due to occasional aftershocks, shelter tents were set up in many places for people whose houses were damaged and whose residences were threatened by geological disasters.
In the shelter site of Aba Prefecture People's Hospital, more than 100 tents have been set up in the local streets to provide shelter for more than 560 people, of which 67 are used for medical treatment of hospital patients.
