The early morning on the summer plateau is still a little cool, and the little gesang flowers on the grassland are swaying in the wind.

In the Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, which is located in the hinterland of the Three Rivers Source, Meiduo, a first-ethnic primary school teacher in Maqin County, hurried out after eating a bowl of milk tea and a piece of bun.

"The three-foot podium is my favorite place. It's not a big place, but it's of great significance. I walk more than two kilometers every morning, and I can still exercise." Mei Duo said that although the teaching conditions are better now, there is no need to get up early as before. Make stoves for the children, but the teacher must also arrive before the children.

From becoming a teacher to now, for 27 years, Mei Duo has always been the first to arrive at the door of the class, and the last to leave after finishing the classroom desks.

In 1974, Mei Duo was born in a Tibetan herdsman family on the Maqin grassland.

As an adult, Mei Duo chose to be a "Gailgan" (Tibetan, meaning teacher) on the grassland, and was willing to be a "green leaf" for tens of thousands of students.

Why did she choose the profession of teaching?

Mido replied, "Because of the book "Micro-pedagogy" that I saw on the way to school."

In 1991, at the age of 17, she received the admission notice from the High School Attached to Qinghai Normal University as she wished.

From Guoluo to Xining, after nearly two days and two nights in the old Jiefang truck, Mei Duo read the book "Micro Teaching Method" on the way.

"Teaching as a science has rules to follow, and as a technology, it can be mastered through vocational training. The scientific and technical nature of teaching is the basis for mastering the art of teaching." The bold and refined view of education has become the "guide" of Meiduo.

In 1995, Meiduo graduated with honors and taught in Dangxiang Township boarding primary school and First Nations primary school in Maqin County.

In the past 27 years, Meiduo has affirmed every point of achievement of students, encouraged every point of progress, and devoted itself to giving students self-confidence. Student achievement has always been among the best in the county.

"Being a teacher and educating talents, one must first learn endlessly." Mei Duo said.

How to master your own teaching effect and adjust teaching strategies in time by observing words and expressions?

Students are naughty in class, how to remind them ingeniously without hurting their self-esteem?

At the three-foot platform, Meiduo integrated the study of professional books with practice, formed a set of own teaching methods, and wrote papers published in many educational research journals, winning first and second prizes at the national and provincial levels.

In 2018, Meiduo won the "National May 1st Labor Medal", and then won honors such as "The Most Beautiful Teacher" in Qinghai Province, "Advanced Worker" and "Outstanding Communist Party Member" in Guoluo Prefecture.

Speaking of these honors, Mido just said lightly: "Like all teachers, I am serious about teaching and educating people. Those honors are for me and for all teachers."

At 9 am, the bell for the first get out of class just rang.

"I have to go and see a child in my class first." Mei Duo ignored the interview, and "walked" to her class among the students in the corridor.

At the age of 48, she wears a neat ponytail and wears a simple Tibetan dress, exuding a capable spirit from the inside out.

The child Tsering (pseudonym) that Meiduo misses is the most special one among the tens of thousands of students she has taught.

Because of congenital developmental defects, study and school life require special care.

Since Tsering entered the school, Meiduo had to follow him to guard him every time he went up and down the stairs. In mathematics class, he was afraid that Tsering would not understand, so he devoted himself to tutoring after class.

Mei Duo clearly remembered that Tsering scored 18 on the first math test, but in her heart, this score was more precious than 100.

"I can rest assured that this child is in my class." Over the past few years, Mei Duo has spent several times more effort and energy on Tsering than other children, in exchange for Tsering calling her "teacher mother" .

On Teacher's Day every year, Meiduo receives many messages from former students, including students who have gone out of the grasslands to study in institutions of higher learning, as well as public officials who have held important positions in their jobs.

"Isn't teaching and educating people looking forward to their future!" Mei Duo enjoys the process of acting as green leaves for the "flowers" of the motherland, and never tires of it.

Now, Mei Duo attends 15 to 20 classes a week and patiently tutors students after class. Work takes up almost two-thirds of her time.

As her colleagues commented: "Her energy seems to be blooming only for the students." (End)
