A demonstration was organized this Tuesday, June 7 in Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis), in support of two high school students, Cameroonian and Mauritian, aged 19 and 21, threatened with expulsion from French territory, in full baccalaureate

Le Parisien

, the two young men have already been admitted, one to the Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS), the other to the École Normale Supérieure (ENS).

An “absurd” migration policy

Recipients of an Obligation to leave French territory (OQTF), the two high school students point to the inconsistencies of the administration.

“There are a lot of mistakes on very important things.

(…) It is written that my family is still in Mauritius while they are here.

They also say that I don't have a job, without mentioning that I am a high school student, ”one of them confided to our colleagues.

A situation which provoked many political reactions, such as that of deputy Éric Coquerel (LFI).

This decision by the French administration was "unfortunately one more symbol of this still absurd migration policy, which does not take the situation into account at all", he believes.
