The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of what was reported to the Beni Suef police station from a person, in the absence of his brother from their residence.

The ministry said in a statement that the efforts of the search team, with the participation of the Public Security Sector and the Criminal Investigation Department of the Beni Suef Security Directorate, concluded that the reporter in his absence was accompanied by an “unemployed person - with criminal information”, and by summoning the latter and discussing it, it was decided that the reporter in his absence was asking him to return a sum of money previously. And if he borrowed it from him, he resolved to get rid of it, and for that he lured him and beat him until he fainted, so he threw him in the Nile River and took his mobile phone and a sum of money, and got rid of the victim’s phone by throwing it in one of the water banks in the center department.

He instructed the accused on the place of disposal of the body and the amount of money seized.
