On June 7, a landslide occurred in Yanggu Township, Changting County, Longyan, which blocked the local transportation road for living materials to Baiping Village and Zhoudi Village.
The Longyan Detachment of Fujian Forest Fire Brigade stationed in Changting dispatched 30 people and carried more than 130 pieces of equipment to rescue.
As of 16:00 on the 7th, after 7 hours, the rescuers scrambled for about 7.5 kilometers of roads, cleaned up more than 40 landslides, dealt with more than 30 fallen trees, and restored local road traffic.
The road in Gutian Town, Shanghang County, Longyan City was severely damaged due to flash floods caused by heavy rain.
The Meihuashan Tourist Scenic Spot in Gutian Town issued a notice saying that due to heavy rain, some scenic spots were temporarily closed and tourist reception was suspended.
Fujian continued to maintain a level III response to rainstorm prevention, and issued rainstorm warnings, geological disaster meteorological risk warnings, and mountain torrent disaster risk warnings on the same day.
