An unknown disease kills horses in Kazakhstan

Kazakh media reported that the northern region of Kazakhstan witnessed the death of livestock, especially horses, as a result of an unknown disease.

And “sbotnik” quoted the Kazakh channel “Al-Khabar”: The horses have been coughing for more than a week and secreting mucus, and it is not clear what is happening, perhaps it is a serious disease, and perhaps there is a cold due to climate changes, we do not know.

The Kazakh region of Timiryazevsky witnessed the death of 15 horses, and shepherds told the authorities that they had isolated the horses.

After examining the horses by veterinarians, the deputy governor of the "Yeselsky" region, Alexander Kravchuk, said that the disease is a common cold, however, according to journalists, specialists are faced with such a disease for the first time.

It is reported that samples have been taken from sick animals for laboratory studies and are due to be ready within two weeks.

In villages where horses got sick, the slaughter of cattle and the sale of meat were temporarily prohibited.

It is noteworthy that the media had reported earlier that Kazakhstan has American biological laboratories.

It is known that a new American laboratory with the fourth (maximum) degree of protection is being established at the present time.

While farmers have been complaining since the beginning of this year of an outbreak of an unknown disease, livestock sometimes die.
