The Sharjah Book Authority revealed that nine books have received a grant from the children's book makers platform "Horizon", which was chosen from among 50 illustrated books by illustrators and publishing houses from 12 countries. She added: "We see content that addresses children in a distinct way as an influential factor in shaping the child's culture and highlighting the strengths in it, and it enhances the child's skills with its attractive graphics in their artistic and influential forms in conveying positive messages to children readers. Hence, the Children's Book Makers Platform grant (Ofuk) is a contributing factor in the dissemination of distinguished works and the expansion of the circle of benefit from them in the community of young people.”

The children's book makers platform "Ofok" allocates financial support of $1,500, which the painter receives for one book, and each of the painter and publisher receives a grant for a maximum of two books, as the Sharjah Book Authority is keen through it to encourage workers in the children's book publishing sector, Pioneering efforts in the manufacture of cognitive publications aimed at children.
