Foreign Minister Christophe Lutundula Apala also reacts to the arrival of the Belgian King Philippe, expected Tuesday, June 7 in Kinshasa for his first official visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

It will take place against a backdrop of work of memory and reconciliation between Belgium and its former colony and will be part, according to Christophe Lutundula Apala, in the process of "relaunching cooperation with Belgium."

He hopes that it will contribute to "washing History of its dirt" thanks to a constructive dialogue between the Belgian sovereign and President Félix Tshisekedi.

A process that also involves the forthcoming repatriation from Belgium of a relic of Patrice Lumumba, hero of Congolese independence.
