China News Service, Chengdu, June 7 (Reporter Liu Zhongjun) The Sichuan Provincial Emergency Management Department revealed on the 7th that through the joint efforts of all parties, the Lushan "6.1" earthquake-stricken area has been fully transferred to the transitional resettlement stage.

It is understood that Lushan County and Baoxing County of Ya'an City, combined with the results of post-earthquake house safety inspection and emergency assessment work, have organized the affected people whose houses are safe in the emergency assessment results to return home with peace of mind, and all 61 centralized temporary resettlement sites in the earthquake area have been demolished.

At the same time, 9 transitional resettlement sites were set up by using idle public houses, farmhouses and low-rent housing in schools and village committees, and 187 people were resettled.

The rest of the disaster-stricken people who need transitional resettlement will be dispersedly resettled by relying on relatives and friends.

At present, Sichuan Province and Ya'an City have dispatched working groups to guide local governments to do a good job in the transitional resettlement of disaster-affected people and related living guarantees, to ensure that the disaster-affected people have "five possessions", and to ensure social order and stability in the disaster-stricken areas.

At the same time, the Sichuan Provincial Disaster Reduction Committee Office also sent a working group to support the local disaster damage assessment work to ensure that disaster losses are scientifically objective, realistic, timely and efficient, and provide a reference for post-disaster recovery and reconstruction.
