"Young man"

The result of the work of the creative tandem of Alexander Fomin and Danila Kozlovsky after "Karamora" can be seen in the new adventurous comedy "Young Man".

In the center of the plot is 30-year-old Vanya Revzin (Pavel Tabakov).

In his luggage - numerous classes with tutors, a gold medal at school and a red diploma from Moscow State University, but in order to be financially successful, this is not enough.

Vanya is struggling to get out of debt, while his classmate Kolya (Danila Kozlovsky), who is a low school student, has become a successful businessman and is now funding a high-prize competition organized for high school students at a summer camp.

Vanya decides to win at all costs and gets involved in this adventure, especially since his appearance allows: the hero looks young, he can only forge documents and shave off his mustache.

The plot is partly based on the personal experience of Alexander Fomin.

“I remember that towards the end of 2018 I was in a deep depression due to the fact that I couldn’t make my first film.

I'm almost 30, someone by this time is already preparing a second or third picture, travels to festivals, gives out interviews, but I still can't.

By the way, in many ways this “envy” was transferred to the main character of the scenario “Young Man”, Vanya.

And then I sat down at the computer and decided: “That's it, I'm writing a new script, but if next year nothing happens again, it's time to tie it up,” says the director.

He wrote the script for The Young Man over the New Year holidays and was finally able to please the producers.

"One"

On August 24, 1981, a military bomber crashed into an AN-24 passenger plane en route from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to Blagoveshchensk.

More than 30 people were on board, including the newlyweds Larisa and Vladimir Savitsky.

Rescuers could not even imagine that someone could have survived the disaster, but Larisa alone was destined to stay alive.

This miracle and her survival in the taiga tells the film by Dmitry Suvorov.

According to the director, Larisa agreed to advise the film crew after much thought - it was too hard to plunge into memories.

In the end, she decided, remembering that during the crash she herself was inspired by a frame from the movie “Miracles Still Happen”, in which the heroine survived after a plane crash in the jungle.

“And she agreed to cooperate and make a film together - what if, this is her mission and the film will help someone survive, someone will remember just like her, this frame will remain alive

,

” said director Dmitry Suvorov in an interview with IA Regnum.

In order to faithfully recreate the events of the 1980s, the producers were looking for locations that were as appropriate as possible for that time.

In addition, they bought a real An-24 aircraft for filming, sawed and laid out the wreckage as they scattered during the crash.

“Koshchei.

Bride Kidnapper"

The main villain of Russian folklore has repeatedly become the hero of feature films - in them he mostly appeared in a traditional sinister image.

The authors of the animated film Koshchei tried to humanize Koshchei.

The Beginning, where the character is portrayed as a brave warrior and romantic hero.

The audience accepted such a deviation from the original source favorably.

“Koshchei.

Bride Kidnapper follows this same practice.

According to the story, Koschei has been looking for a bride for three centuries, but is refused after refusal.

Neither threats, nor abductions, nor the transformation of princesses into frogs help him.

Probably, Koshchei does not know the ancient wisdom: you will not be forced to be nice.

Kolobok tells the dark prince that there is still Barbara left, but it is not easy to conquer her either - everything is fine in her, and there are more strengths and powers than ten heroes.

In addition, the girl is very selective - men weaker than her are not interested in her.

However, Koschey is also not a blunder - although he does not seem impressive, incredible power lies in him.

The heroes were voiced by Viktor Dobronravov, Ekaterina Tarasova, Elizaveta Boyarskaya and others.

"Lost" (Last Seen Alive)

Will (Gerard Butler) and Lisa (Jamie Alexander) are in crisis.

Their marriage is cracking at the seams: Will often stays late at work and spends little time with his wife, and Lisa has cooled off towards him and wants to take a break.

Will takes her to her parents' house, but along the way, at a gas station, Lisa mysteriously disappears.

Will puts on the ears of the local police and is looking for a wife, but at some point he himself becomes a suspect.

He has to flee from the authorities and take matters into his own hands.

“As soon as I read the script, I immediately realized what a special film this is,” says producer Alan Siegel.

“Gerard and I really enjoyed working and collaborating with our fantastic partners.

They shared our vision and aspired to the same things that we do.

I think we managed to make this film original and meaningful.”

"American Dream" (Topside)

The film is set in the Freedom Tunnel in New York.

The authors of the tape tried to authentically recreate the life of homeless people, as well as the tunnel itself.

The plot revolves around Nikki and her five-year-old daughter.

They live below the poverty line in an abandoned underground tunnel in New York.

For them and other homeless people, this place has become a home.

But at the request of the authorities, they have to go upstairs (hence the original name - Topside).

So, on a cold night, Nikki and the child are outside.

The film was awarded the Best Technical Achievement Award at the Venice International Film Festival in 2020.
