I got a free sofa which was the surprise

A woman received a double gift she had never thought of. After Vicky Omodo got a free couch as a help for the poor, she checked it out to find a large sum of money inside one of her pillows.

The woman was looking for furniture for her home when she saw the sofa offered for free in the furniture hall, so she got it, and moved it to her house.

Bringing the sofa home, Omodo noticed something hard in one of the sofa cushions, and was shocked to find tens of thousands of dollars inside.

After counting the amount, it turned out to be $36,000, so I decided to call the lounge and try to find its owners, who had decided to give up the sofa after the departure of a "dear person" to them.

The owners of the sofa later said that they had no idea what that amount was in the foundation of the house, nor who put it there.

According to the "Daily Star".

The sofa owners decided to reward Omodo for the refund by giving her $2,200 which she said she would use to buy a new fridge.

Interestingly, the owners of the house said that they later found hundreds of dollars hidden in various places around their house, news.com.au reported.
