China News Service, Taiyuan, June 6th: "Post-90s" wheelchair girl rewrites her destiny with a pen: she never went to school but counterattacked and became a writer

  Author Liu Xiaohong

An accident made 6-year-old Li Lu a wheelchair companion.

After spending 6 years of boredom, she gradually realized the difference between herself and others.

Coincidentally, Li Lu started homeschooling at the age of 13, starting from the simplest pinyin learning, to recognizing characters, reading novels, and then learning to write.

After years of hard work, Li Lu, who has become a writer, has written articles that have been reprinted by domestic first-line journals, and has also become a self-media author with hundreds of thousands of fans.

At the moment, typing on the computer keyboard, she earns an average monthly income of over 10,000 yuan.

Li Lu comes from a small village in Liulin County, Lvliang, Shanxi Province. She was lively and cheerful since she was a child, and she always liked to "run wild" with her friends in the fields.

At the age of 6, an accident caused Li Lu to be paraplegic in a high position, and she has since started living in a wheelchair.

However, when she was 6 years old, an accident caused Li Lu to be paraplegic, and she began to live in a wheelchair.

At that time, Li Lu, who was still young, always felt that she was just injured by a fall.

She said: "At that time, I would still want to wait for my legs to heal, what I want to do, and do a lot of things."

Gradually, all the friends around Li Lu began to go to school, and fewer and fewer children could play with her.

Regarding the friendship between classmates, the things in the textbook, all the troubles and fun of school, Li Lu felt that it had nothing to do with herself.

Lonely, she is often alone in a small space, and she seems to see what she looks like when she is old.

As fate dictated, Li Lu had an ignorant desire for knowledge.

Fortunately, Li Lu's father bought her a second-hand computer in order to let her daughter pass the time.

Based on the desire to talk, she made a choice that will affect her future life path, that is, self-study.

A 13-year-old girl who knows nothing about the future, desperately flips through books, dictionaries, etc., and begins to babble and learn to read and write. Starting from the simplest pinyin, her brothers and sisters, parents, neighbors, and friends have all been Li Lu's teacher.

For a long time, Li Lu was in a situation where she didn't know where to go.

Li Lu said: "In those days, I sat in front of the computer every day to explore. It was very cold in winter. I was wrapped in a blanket and looked out the window. The weather was as dark as my own life." Looking back on that experience, Li Lu is very grateful The original self, on the road that saw no hope, still persevered.

Later, Li Lu also did some simple reading, such as reading a short poem, reading a short story, slowly understanding, and slowly pondering.

After knowing a lot of words, she began to read more deeply, such as Jin Yong's martial arts novels, Sherlock Holmes detective series, etc.

Talking about the past, Li Lu attributes all the changes to "reading".

In the future, Li Lu will continue to read and write as always.

Recalling the time when he was addicted to books, Li Lu said: "The fun and beauty of reading, as well as the realization, in my dull and pale growth, it was like a bright fireworks of knowledge exploded in the night sky, I was immersed in it, Unstoppable."

Li Lu has always believed that reading not only brings her endless vitality and creativity, but also brings her the opportunity to change her destiny.

With the accumulation of knowledge, Li Lu began to learn to write down her mood changes, her reading experiences, and she also learned to submit articles online.

The manuscripts that were initially submitted were all lost.

Despite this, Li Lu still enjoys writing the emotions she wants to express.

From literacy to publication of the first full-length online fairy tale novel "Crystal Slipper D Magic", Li Lu only took more than 3 years.

This 160,000-word novel is enough to witness Li Lu's efforts beyond ordinary people.

After a long period of study and constant tempering, her articles began to be accepted slowly. The feedback at the beginning was only a dozen or tens of yuan, but this encouragement made Li Lu more determined to write.

Gradually, Li Lu's novels began to appear in magazines. Those youth magazines she had read before, such as "Reader" and "Youth Digest", all published Li Lu's articles; later, Li Lu published "Girls, You Have to Be Good" A collection of works such as "Love Yourself", some of the articles have been translated and published abroad (Nepal), and have also received praise from many readers.

Out of the adjustment of life, Li Lu began to contact the self-media a few years ago and founded her own entertainment account "Meng Shen Mu Mu".

Today, the account has hundreds of thousands of fans, and the number of readings has already exceeded 100 million.

The reporter learned that with years of hard work, 29-year-old Li Lu has bought her own house in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province, and also owns her own mobility car.

Already independent, she often leaves the care of her parents and lives alone in Taiyuan.

Talking about the past, Li Lu attributes all the changes to "reading".

In the future, Li Lu will continue to read and write as always.
