China News Service, Guilin, June 5 (Liu Jianshe Ou Huilan) At 2:30 on June 5, a flood peak of 146.10 meters appeared at the Guilin Hydrological Station of the Li River in Guilin City, Guangxi, which exceeded the warning water level by 0.10 meters, and the flow rate was 2470 cubic meters per second.

This is the first time this year that the Lijiang River has experienced an over-alarm flood.

As the saying goes: "May 5th, Dragon Boat Festival water." On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival and the next day (June 3 and 4), Guilin City, especially the upper reaches of the Li River, generally fell to heavy rains, and local heavy rains.

According to the actual measurement, from 8:00 on June 3 to 8:00 on the 5th, the average rainfall on the four reservoirs of Lijiang Reservoir, Qingshitan, Fuzikou, Xiaorongjiang and Chuanjiang, was 159.5, 183.8, 194.6 and 168.7 mm respectively.

The four reservoirs intercepted the maximum inbound flow of 625, 1224, 720 and 320 cubic meters per second respectively.

It is understood that at 8:00 on June 4, the total inflow flow of Qingshitan, Fuzikou, Xiaorongjiang and Chuanjiang reservoirs was 1,859 cubic meters per second, and the total outbound flow was 616 cubic meters per second. It is 3 times the outbound flow.

Due to the long-term high-flow flood interception, the water level of the reservoir has risen rapidly. As of 12:00 on the 4th, the Fuzikou Reservoir, which has been in flood discharge since May 30, exceeded the flood limit by 3.82 meters, and the Xiaorongjiang Reservoir exceeded the flood limit by 3.82 meters. 3.37 meters, the Chuanjiang Reservoir exceeds the flood limit water level of 0.48 meters.

In order to ensure the safety of the reservoir project and the flood control of the Lijiang River, the Guilin Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau and the Lijiang Reservoir Group Management Department pay close attention to the weather changes, keep an eye on the water level of the reservoir and the Lijiang River, take strict precautions, make precise scheduling, and do their best to deal with the "Dragon Boat Festival Water". .

After an emergency consultation by the Guilin Reservoir Dispatching Expert Group, it was decided to increase the flood discharge flows of the Fuzikou Reservoir and Xiaorongjiang Reservoir to 500 cubic meters per second and 400 cubic meters per second, respectively, starting at 12:00 on June 4. , free up part of the storage capacity as soon as possible to defend against heavy rainfall in the later period.

In order to reduce the flood pressure of the Lijiang River, at 22:00 on the 4th, the three reservoirs of the Lijiang River Reservoir Group, Fuzikou, Xiaorongjiang and Chuanjiang, quickly reduced the flood discharge to 100, 50 and 20 cubic meters per second.

In the end, the Lijiang Reservoir Group controlled a possible over-guaranteed flood into a regular flood.
