According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, at around 6:34 am on the 5th, a Chinese marine research vessel "Toho Beni 3" was on the deck in Japan's exclusive economic zone, about 74 km north of Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture. The patrol boat confirmed that a crane was used to throw a probable observation device hung on the wire into the sea.

For this reason, the patrol boat is requesting the suspension by radio, saying that the investigation without the consent of Japan will not be accepted.
