Occupied Jerusalem -

The activity of right-wing Jewish organizations and settlement associations has expanded in historic Palestine in recent years, especially after the dominance of the Zionist right over the reins of government and the Israeli political scene.

Through these organizations, the Zionist right seeks to tighten control over various sectors of Israeli society, as its discourse has become dominant in the Israeli political community.

Therefore, it is difficult to separate the right-wing racist activities, attacks and bloody incitement against Palestinians led by the two racist Jewish organizations “Lahava” and “Lafamilia” and other settlement associations, from the strategic agenda and policies of successive Israeli governments that depend in their composition on the parties of the traditional right-wing camp and the extremist settlers.

Hate crimes and racism

In an attempt by Israel to circumvent international criticism and vent international pressure on the Israeli government in light of the persistence of organizations and settler gangs in carrying out attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank, and hate and racist crimes that were manifested in the “flags march” in occupied Jerusalem, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz recommended classifying my organization.” Lahava and La Familia, as two terrorist organizations and outlawing them.

The measures recommended by Gantz to promote the Israeli narrative that “Jewish hate crimes and racism are carried out by “small groups” and do not represent the Jewish people,” in an attempt to “beautify Israel’s image,” in light of the crimes of settler gangs and their role in physical violations against Palestinians.

Official Israel also seeks to anticipate the repercussions of the European Union’s criticism of Jewish racist slogans and hate speech against the Palestinians that prevailed during the provocative “Flags March” and the escalation of violence by right-wing organizations and the attacks and crimes of “price tag” gangs in the occupied West Bank.

Lahava... the superiority of the Jewish race

The far-right "Lahava" organization, founded by Rabbi Ben Tswin Govstein on December 17, 2009, is one of the most prominent right-wing Zionist organizations that operate according to extremist nationalist and racist settler agendas against the Palestinians.

"Lahava" in the Arabic language means "flame", which is the Hebrew initials of the words "to prevent assimilation in the Holy Land." Mixed marriages, specifically the marriage of Jewish girls to non-Jews, as well as combating and rejecting the assimilation of “non-Jews” in the lives of Jews.

It is inferred from the statistics of the Committee for the Advancement of the Status of Women in the Knesset that discussed the phenomenon of "mixed marriage" in Israel, that the data showed that there are more than 93,000 families in Israel where one of the spouses is not a Jew.

The activity of the "Lahava" organization, which adopts and raises the discourse of racism and hatred, as a slogan and action, against Arabs and Palestinians, and the implementation of physical attacks and bloody incitement against them, especially in occupied Jerusalem, has emerged in the calls for the construction of the alleged "temple" in place of the Dome of the Rock.

It is also the main driver of the call of settlers and activists of the Israeli extreme right to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque and hold Talmudic rituals and rituals in the courtyards of the Temple Mount, especially during the Jewish holidays.

The organization encourages the principle of "Hebrew work." According to the head of the "Lahava" organization, activists and members of the organization are working to intensify and exert pressure on the owners of shops and factories that employ Jews and Arabs, in order to expel Arab workers, since these places increase the possibility of supporters and mixing.

Lahava has been organizing provocative rallies in Palestinian towns, initiating incitement campaigns against Palestinians, and broadcasting racist and hate speech and slogans calling for the killing of Arabs and Palestinians, in the absence of deterrence by the Israeli law enforcement authorities, which motivates the organization to continue its crimes. And persistence in its attacks and the increase of extremism in its inflammatory and bloody rhetoric.

Lafamilia.. Terror with a sports cover

On the Lahava plan, the La Familia organization was launched in Jerusalem, which was established in 2005, as an association of fans of the Beitar Al-Quds football team. Beitar Jerusalem Club in 2006.

"Lafamilia" in Spanish and Italian means "the family", and the name was chosen by the audience of "Beitar Al-Quds", after the Italian mafia films, as the organization considers itself the preserver of the values of the "Jewish family", pure, superior, closed and racist, as defined by the movement. Zionism versus the Palestinian other.

The racist, hateful and anti-Palestinian behavior and rhetoric of La Familia is overshadowed by its promotion as a “fans league” for a football team, to mislead the reality, substance, mentality and activism of the members of this organization.

La Familia members are known for their racism against all that is "non-Jewish", and for their insulting slogans against Palestinians, and chants against Islam and the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, as well as for their marches characterized by vandalism, terrorism, and attacks on Arabs and their property.

public and political support

The members of "La Familia" reject the presence of any Palestinian player from the 48 in their "Beitar Jerusalem" team, and oppose any cooperation, networking, or twinning with what is "non-Jewish", and they also violently attack other Jewish teams that include Arab players in their squad.

The fan base of this organization includes Jews from all sectors, including officers and soldiers in the Israeli army.

Despite the rhetoric of racism, hatred, violent behavior and terrorist and sabotage operations that affect everything that is Arab, the Beitar Jerusalem team and its administration do not seek to condemn the La Familia organization, and this also applies to the Israeli political level and leaders of some right-wing parties who see the organization as an expression It is true about the Zionist right, with all its values, orientations, and rhetorical implications.

In the absence of legal deterrence and support from the political level and the mass base, the members of this organization feel safe and protected, and persist in racism, hate speech and terrorist attacks, as the organization is active under the auspices of Israeli law and with the hidden support of right-wing Israeli leaders who express their admiration for La Familia and its members.
