On the morning of the 3rd, a suspicious envelope arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kasumigaseki, Tokyo, and when the Metropolitan Police Department examined the inside, something like a flare and a PET bottle were found.

After 9:30 am on the 3rd, Tokyo Kasumigaseki reported to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department that a suspicious envelope had arrived from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Seki.



According to the investigators, the envelope was delivered by mail in A4 size white, the sender was an individual name, and the front of the envelope said "To all staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs".



When I checked it with an X-ray inspection machine, there was something like a container, so when the Metropolitan Police Department sent out an explosives disposal team and examined the inside of the envelope, there was something like a flare, a PET bottle, and a letter from inside. It means that it was found.



The postmark on the envelope was from a post office in Aichi prefecture.



The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the detailed information that the envelope was sent to, as there is a suspicion that it may interfere with business operations.
