The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (

AESAN

), dependent on the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, has received an alert for the

presence of salmonella in minced poultry marketed in Spain by the

Lidl

supermarket chain .

Specifically, it is

lot 3369

with a plastic tray and a weight of 500 grams.

The AESAN has been informed by the Autonomous Community of

Aragon

through the Coordinated System for the Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI).

With the information available to date, there is no record in Spain of

any reported case

associated with this alert.

It is advised to avoid all people who have the

product

and "return it to the point of purchase".

The

AESAN

recommends that if you have consumed these products and present

any symptoms

compatible with salmonellosis, you should go to a health center.
