It is now the wheat harvest season in Henan, a major grain province in China. The main wheat producing area of Xiping County, Zhumadian City, known as the "granary of the Central Plains", is golden everywhere, and the wheat waves are rolling.
On June 2, the wheat in the county's 31,000-mu high-standard farmland renovation project area was officially opened, and a variety of agricultural machinery worked together efficiently in the field, just like a good harvest.
In recent years, high-standard farmland construction has increasingly become a ballast stone for high and stable yields.
Henan Province, a major grain-producing province, has vigorously promoted the construction of high-standard farmland, focusing on building an important core area of grain production in the country, and the area of high-standard farmland has continued to grow.
Since the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Henan has invested a total of 103.7 billion yuan and built 85.7 million mu of high-standard farmland. "Roads are connected, canals are connected, drought can be irrigated, and floods can be drained", increasing the annual grain production capacity of about 22 billion catties.
