The copla singer Gracia Cabrera Gómez,

artistically known as Gracia Montes

and considered the

crystal voice of

the Spanish copla

(Lora del Río, March 1, 1936), has died at the

age of 86.

The City Council of his hometown has decreed

two days of official mourning

in the Consistory, as well as the display of a

black crepe and waving at half-staff

of the Lora del Río flag on the facade of the City Hall and municipal buildings from 09.00 hours of this Thursday until 09.00 am on Saturday, June 4.
