Expose the "Stock Master" live teaching scam

  □ Our reporter Dong Fanchao

"When I think about it now, my guts are green with regret! Before I retired, I worked in a company and was a very cautious person. I often saw the anti-fraud propaganda of the public security department, and I thought that I would never trust people online easily!"

Speaking of her experience of being deceived, Granny Wang, a retiree from Yuzhong District, Chongqing, grabbed the hand of Lun Yongchang, a police officer at Jiefangbei Police Station of Yuzhong District Public Security Bureau, and said excitedly: "The master who lectures is very famous on the Internet. I checked it out. Classes are broadcast live every day, and knowledge about stock trading is taught for free. There are 30,000 people watching in the live broadcast room. The stock speculation items they talk about can be found online, and there are indeed!"

The 64-year-old mother-in-law was widowed in her early years. She usually lives alone. After retirement, she only has a pension of more than 3,000 yuan per month.

My daughter and son-in-law have two children to support. I recently bought a house and owe hundreds of thousands of yuan in mortgage loans.

As a mother, she is concerned and anxious. She wants to do everything she can to help her daughter share the financial pressure.

On March 6 this year, while online, Granny Wang came across a video teaching stock trading knowledge, so she took the initiative to add the social account of Ye Mou, the "stock speculator" left on the video.

Ye asked Granny Wang to contact his "personal assistant", and the "assistant" immediately pulled Granny Wang into a "stock trading learning exchange group". There were only 21 people in the group, and many of them "classmates" all used the same online name.

In the "learning group", Ye Mou began to teach everyone the "secrecy" of getting rich overnight:

First of all, the "assistant" pushed a live link called "Stock Market Taishan Meeting". Although Granny Wang was skeptical, she couldn't help but click on it.

In the live broadcast, the "Master" first instilled a lot of professional stock trading knowledge, and then many "fans" commented on the screen in the live broadcast room, thanking them for making a lot of money because of the "full teaching" of the master, This made Granny Wang, who was hesitant, completely dispelled her concerns.

After learning a lot of stock trading courses, under the "careful guidance" of the "Master" and her assistant, Granny Wang downloaded a wealth management app called "Hongxin Digital", and decisively transferred 20,000 yuan in a single transaction to the account provided by Ye Mou. Used to purchase a certain electronic currency.

Soon, Granny Wang sold a certain electronic coin at a high price on the app.

After tasting the "sweetness", Granny Wang took out all her savings, plus part of her daughter's savings, collected more than 200,000 yuan, skillfully transferred, bought a certain electronic currency, and sold it quickly.

In just 5 days, Grandma Wang's account balance on the app showed that it had reached more than 3 million yuan. She was about to start withdrawing money online, but she never expected that the app showed that she could only withdraw 256 yuan.

Grandma Wang thought that the system was wrong at first, but after many attempts, she found that she still could not withdraw cash.

Three days later, the anxious grandmother Wang began to ask other "classmates" in the "study group", but no one in the group responded.

Granny Wang hurriedly added the WeChat accounts of two "classmates" in the group, but the other party never responded.

At this time, she woke up like a dream and immediately called the police.

It turned out that those people are "children"!

After receiving the alarm, the Jiefangbei police station immediately identified the head of the household, Jiang, as another major suspect by investigating the relevant accounts involved.

After investigation, it was found that Jiang provided the above account to fraud gangs.

As one of the multiple accounts used by Ye's criminal gang, the account involved about 190,000 yuan and involved multiple victims.

After verification, 20,000 yuan was transferred from Granny Wang.

Lun Yongchang told the "Rules of Law Daily" reporter that at present, Jiang has taken coercive measures in accordance with the law for being suspected of helping information network criminal activities.

The 20,000 yuan that Grandma Wang was deceived into the account of Jiang's enterprise has been recovered and returned as soon as possible. The case is still under further investigation.

The police reminded the general public to keep in mind that "investment is risky", and do not believe in the so-called "steady profit without loss" propaganda, and children should also often spread the knowledge of fraud prevention to the elderly.
