Melodikrysset is usually described as an institution in Swedish radio, and Anna Charlotta Gunnarson is one of the program's loyal listeners.
She has a long past as a music journalist behind her with radio series such as "Pop and Politics" and "Fake".
Annika Jankell also has a long past in both TV and radio as a presenter for Listan, Nyhetsmorgon and Svensktoppen in P4.
- Melodikrysset is family entertainment and everyone should be able to participate.
The trick is to cross between different genres, it is a challenge, says Annika Jankell.
It was on Tuesday that Anders Eldeman announced that he will retire as host of the popular program Melodikrysset after just over 26 years.
He will do his last program on Midsummer Day on June 25.
The melody cross began to be broadcast in 1965.
- The program is such an institution I followed it myself with my parents before I myself became a program manager.
Everything else is changing in society, it's nice with something that is lasting, Anders Eldeman told SVT in connection with his quitting.
The new presenters certify that there will be no major changes:
