The Baillet-en-France site (Val-d'Oise) receives the spoil from the excavations for the Grand Paris Express works.

An agreement to this effect was signed in 2017. The gypsum deposit operated on site by the company Placoplatre has already made it possible to accommodate 300,000 m3 of earth, reports

.

Backfilling the subsoil of the deposit used for more than 200 years is however becoming urgent.

Careers threaten to collapse.

47 million tonnes of waste by 2030

Placoplatre receives a significant portion of the gypsum clay from construction sites.

It would like to receive 600,000m3 per year and has even undertaken to reserve 50% of its cavities for rubble from the Grand Paris Express sites by 2030. This will be used at the company's four Ile-de-France sites.

It is also a godsend for the Société du Grand Paris, which ultimately wants to recover 70% of its waste, compared to 49% currently.

47 million tonnes of spoil should be generated by 2030 and new partners are being sought.
