In December of last year, a girl who lived in Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture, was arrested for leaving her three-year-old daughter untreated even though she was seriously injured. Went to a childcare facility and found that no abnormalities were found.

Police are investigating the details of the alleged abuse during the month before her death.

Nana Nagano, a 31-year-old unemployed person in Kasukabe City, was treated by a doctor in mid-December last year, even though her second daughter, Saki-chan (3 years old at the time), had a broken leg and was unable to walk. He was arrested on suspicion of abandoning the person responsible for protection, and was sent to the prosecution on June 1.

She denies her charges to police investigations, saying she "did not know she had a broken bone and did not realize she was unable to walk." ..

Saki-chan died of damage to her brain at the end of the same month, and police are investigating the details.

According to the investigation so far, she lived with her three mothers and children until around November last year, and also attended a daycare facility, and there were no signs of abuse.

However, the suspect's acquaintance man moved in and she stopped coming to the daycare facility around the end of November when she started living together.

The suspect has also been charged with assaulting a man with her acquaintance about a week before Saki's death, and police are investigating the details of the alleged abuse.

An acquaintance man was also charged with injury over this incident, but died in March at the police station where he was detained.
