In Nigeria, 20,000 people are demanding justice after the destruction of several poor neighborhoods in the city of Port Harcourt on January 29.

In his New Year's speech, the local governor accused these waterfront communities of being hideouts for criminals.

A few weeks later, their inhabitants were evicted without notice, their houses reduced to crumbs by the diggers.
