The Dubai Charity Association reported that it is the first charitable association in the country to receive donations in digital currencies, through a partnership with one of the platforms in the country that specializes in it. To allocate it according to its legitimate banks.

The Secretary General of the Dubai Charitable Society, Khaled Al Olama, stressed that receiving alms in digital currencies is unprecedented in charitable work in the country and allows for an increase in donations that benefit the needy groups, and also makes it easier for dealers across local and international markets in digital currencies to perform their alms in the easiest and safest way.

Al Olama added that in accordance with Dubai Charity’s keenness to keep pace with the state’s directives, which recently approved dealing with these currencies, the Society is today achieving leadership in charitable work and the great role that Dubai Charity plays in accordance with the path of development and modernity, by keeping pace with the means of payment and dealing with the global digital, which has become a reality. in the lives of many.
