The Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan announced on the 30th that a total of 30 aircraft, including Chinese military fighters, have entered the air defense identification zone of Taiwan.

This was the second highest number of Chinese military aircraft that entered the day.

According to the announcement by the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan, on the 30th, five types of fighters such as the Chinese Army's Yin 16 and Sukhoi Su-35, as well as a total of 30 aircraft such as airborne early warning control aircraft and electronic warfare aircraft, are set off the southwest coast of the main island of Taiwan. Entered the identification zone.

Most of these military aircraft flew in the airspace near Dongsha Island, which is in the South China Sea and is effectively controlled by Taiwanese authorities.

It is the second largest number of Chinese military aircraft entering Taiwan's air defense identification zone each day, and the cumulative total for the five months from January has increased 1.5 times from the same period last year.

In a National Defense Report released last November, the Ministry of Defense said, "China will consume Taiwan's strength due to the so-called gray zone situation that does not lead to an armed attack, and at the same time, it will upset the people's hearts and aim to'take Taiwan without fighting'. We are trying to achieve this, and the entry of military aircraft into the air defense identification zone is one of the means. "
