Player 218 in "The Squid Game" plays the role of "Berlin" in the Korean "Professor"!

It was a busy year for the hero of the famous Korean series "The Squid Game", Park Hye-soo, whose star has not diminished since the "Netflix" network launched this series, which occupied the world when it was shown.

The Screen Actors Guild Award-nominated actor is also starring in a host of other network productions, including the thriller Yaksha: Ruthless Operations (released last April) and the highly anticipated Korean version of Money Heist "The Professor" (coming June 24), where he plays The character "Berlin" from the Spanish series of the same name, in addition to the movie "Ghost" scheduled for release later this year.

Park said he was "sweating to death" in the sweltering South Korean capital's heat, reflecting on the tumultuous success of "The Squid Game" and the unresolved pain of his character (player #218) "Sang Woo" he portrayed in the series.

Sang Woo committed suicide during a dramatic confrontation with (Contestant #456) Ji Hoon (played by SAG Award winner Lee Jong Jae) in the final round of a deadly survival contest that saw hundreds of desperate financial situations compete for a cash prize.

The director and writer of "The Squid Game" Hwang Dong-hyuk had previously hinted that dead characters might somehow appear in the second season of the series.

Asked if there's anything he wants viewers to see in Sang Woo's story in season two, Park said, "If I can tell, I want Sang Woo to meet his mother."

He adds, "Sang Woo was the pride of his mother but was unable to see his mother once before his death."

The Korean star concluded that the character he is playing has not revealed all her secrets and "the pain she is going through has never been resolved. His life as a whole has not been resolved."
