Judge Penney Azcarate first explained at length what the seven jurors are to decide: Depp's complaint relates to three statements from an article published by Heard, in which she alleges that she holds grudges as "a person who has spoken out publicly about domestic violence." beaten” and that she had experienced how “institutions protect men”.

Heard's lawsuit challenges three statements by Depp's agent, Adam Waldman, who publicly accused her of orchestrating an "abuse scam."

A "great damage"

Camille Vasquez and Ben Shew, representing Depp, argue that while their client is not a "saint," he does take responsibility for his alcohol and drug abuse.

Heard's allegations have "taken his life" from the Hollywood star for the past six years.

However, there is no evidence that Depp hit his ex-wife or sexually abused him.

The witnesses also testified in an overwhelming majority for their client.

They accused the 36-year-old of using the trial to "play the part of her life" as a "heroic survivor".

In doing so, however, she denies the experiences of "actual victims of domestic violence" and has not only caused "great damage" for Depp's family.

Heard's attorneys, Ben Rottenborn and Elaine Bredehoft, argued that their client's constitutional freedom of expression allowed her to express her statements in this form.

Provided the jury finds it convincing that the fifty-eight-year-old in any way abused Heard.

Mistreatment, according to Rottenborn, is not only physical and psychological, but also verbal and emotional. Depp's drug abuse created a "monster" from which her client suffered.

Most recently, Bredehoft explained that it was Heard who was no longer granted a normal life through this process.

She should be compensated for that.

The jury should decide on the amount.

The demanded sum of one hundred million dollars is not wanted.

Heard's attorney suggested $350,000.
