, have managed to withdraw 41,692 cosmetic and health care products from the market. personal care that did not comply with the law of guarantees and rational use of medicines and health products in Spain, the Armed Institute reported in a press release on Monday.
Within the framework of the usual inspections in fiscal matters carried out by the
Civil Guard
agents , they located several products for sale in stores in the Madrid neighborhood of
Usera
that did not comply with current regulations, for which they withdrew the products and launched a device designed to locate the warehouses that carried out the distribution of the same.
The investigation allowed the agents to locate two warehouses located in the Cobo Calleja
industrial estate
, located in
Fuenlabrada
, where cosmetic and personal care products were stored and distributed in breach of current regulations, for which the owners of the businesses have been proposed for the corresponding administrative sanction, leaving the products at the disposal of the competent Authority.
The inspections have been carried out together with inspectors from
the Community
Health Department .
Cosmetic products must be safe under normal conditions of use, and must respect the composition and labeling standards provided, and must include the functions of the product, the method of use, the precautions during use, the batch number, expiration date, list of ingredients, etc.
