The customer of the restaurant, Bhargava Joshi, who posted a video of the incident, said that he found the lizard in his drink in a McDonald's branch, so he told the manager of the restaurant what happened. Nothing happened.

The restaurant client added that when he pressured the restaurant management, they offered him to return the price of the meal.

After the video was circulated on Twitter, which attracted the attention of Internet users as well as city officials, the city municipality verified the matter and closed the restaurant, took a sample of the drink and sent it to the public health laboratory.

McDonald's also issued an official statement saying it values ​​cleanliness at its outlets.
