In December 2001, Miho Kazuki, who was 4 years old at the time, was buried in an artificial sandy beach that suddenly collapsed on the Okura coast in Akashi City, and died on May 26, five months later. I did.



On May 26, the anniversary of her 20th anniversary, Mayor Fusaho Izumi of Akashi City, who manages the beach, and 10 city executives visited the site and handed flowers to her death. I mourned.



The accident was caused by a crack in the rubber sheet under the embankment, which caused sand to flow into the sea and collapse, causing similar depressions on the coast of the site for some time. Four people, including city officials, have been charged with manslaughter for not taking sufficient measures, and all have been found guilty.



More than half of the staff entered the city hall after the accident, and Akashi City continues to train newly hired staff every year to prevent the accident from weathering.
