Argentine scientists have discovered a pterosaur known as Thanatosdrakon amaru, Reuters reported on May 23.

According to reports, a team of Argentine paleontologists discovered the fossils of the "Dragon of Reaper" in the Andes Mountains in Mendoza province.

The researchers say the pterosaur, measuring about 9 meters long, is the largest pterosaur ever found in South America.
