Recently, in Jingdong County, Pu'er City, Yunnan Wuliangshan National Nature Reserve, an interesting video of the national first-class protected animal, the western black crested gibbon, was shot.

Tossing stones from the left hand to the right hand is a common thing for humans, but it is not a simple thing for wild animals.

It is understood that the western black crested gibbon is a typical arboreal small ape, mainly distributed in the two national nature reserves of Wuliang Mountain and Ailao Mountain in Yunnan Province.

In recent years, the Protection Bureau of Jingdong County, Pu'er City, Forest Fire Protection and other units have continuously strengthened the protection of the western black crested gibbons.

Jingdong County also completed the third population survey of the western black crested gibbons in the Wuliangshan area in 2021.
