The town of Méru (Oise) has decided to adhere to the project of William Herremy, an artist from the town, consisting in embarking on the creation of the largest puzzle in the world.

The game is made up of 54,000 pieces and is expected to be completed by January 2023, reports

Le Méruvien will distribute bags of 2,000 pieces in 27 sites in the town.

A game for everyone

Among them are primary, middle and high school classes as well as two retirement homes.

All the inhabitants will also be able to participate in this collective work because pieces of the puzzle will be available for free access to the cinema, the media library, the mother-of-pearl museum or the cultural center.

When finished, the puzzle purchased online by the artist will measure 8.64 meters long by 2.04 meters wide.

It depicts famous works of art.

The objective of the theater specialist is to create a link between all the participants through this collective game.
