How delicate can a pure hand-carved Hetian jade carving be?

Recently, in the exhibition hall of the Jade Carving Training School in Hotan City, Hotan, Xinjiang, Zhang Jianghong, Secretary of the Party Branch, showed reporters several exquisite Hetian jade carvings.

One of the works is a jade carving bell, which adopts the "gold and silver wrong" process, that is, a groove is made on the surface of the jade and then filled with straightened gold and silver threads. seam.

The small ball on the upper part of the bell also adopts the integrated hollow carving technique, without any inlay, it is all carved on a piece of jade material.

The second piece is a jade pot. In addition to the delicate and complex hollow decorations on the pot itself, the chain used for hanging above the pot is also made from the same complete piece of jade material as the pot body. Any cutting or collage, the precision of its structure and the intricate carving skills are astonishing.
