Europe 1 12:02 p.m., May 23, 2022

From the start of the school year, Europe 1 is launching the program "Europe 1 Sport", a daily program presented by Lionel Rosso and broadcast 7 days a week from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., which will cover football, but also motor sports.

A program that seeks to return to the fundamentals of Europe 1, the first radio to have launched a daily devoted to sport in 1996.

Media news is also that of Europe 1. From the start of the next school year, sport will take up more and more space on the air, with a program every evening - 7 days a week from 8 p.m. 11:30 p.m. - entitled "Europe 1 Sport" and presented by Lionel Rosso.

On the program: a band of columnists (not yet revealed) regular omnisport meetings and matches commented on from the stadiums.

Reach a younger audience

Europe 1 thus returns to the fundamentals with its daily sport.

As a reminder, it was on our channel that the very first daily sports newspaper was born, in 1996. Today, the radio shows more than ever its ambition to impose itself on the sports scene, but also to reach a younger audience.

Synergies will be developed with the Canal + group around rugby, football and motor sports, including Formula 1, which is on the rise.

The daily will talk about Ligue 1, Ligue 2, big matches, broadcast interviews with big names in sport and offer live broadcasts to its listeners.

To find out, however, you will have to wait: this new meeting will take place at the start of the school year, after the summer.
