Loss was not easy, nor was leaving a passing event. Rather, it was a difficult impact on our hearts. When death disappears, great statures are absent, then the wheel of time slows down, and the steps stop in grief and distress for those who enriched her life and beautified her with joy, happiness and safety.

Khalifa bin Zayed left us satisfied, counted and bid farewell as we knew him, dignified, calm and tolerant, his image and humility have not changed since he was astute by minds and preserved by eyes.

The eyes cried and hearts squeezed the pain of his separation, how not, and the separation will be eternal, but his name will remain engraved in our hearts, and his image will not leave us despite the pain of leaving and the horror of the injured, as it is the year of God in the universe, and there is no objection to his destiny.

It is not hidden from everyone his generous white hands that enabled institutions and clubs to continue their mission and their societal and sports roles, as he created an ideal climate for them to work, creativity and then achievement, and all sectors, without exception, received personal care and support, we rarely find anything like it. Others, attention, follow-up, and overcoming difficulties was his preoccupation, which made sure, may God have mercy on him, that its end was to reach the desired success, which, undoubtedly, made us happy and rejoiced over and over and in moments that stood at the threshold of the gate of history.

Its impact was present and witnessed in our football achievements such as qualifying for the World Cup 90, winning the 2007 Gulf Cup, after decades of strife, and then reaching the London 2012 Olympics.

The impact of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed was present and witness to our footballing achievements.
