Among the precious cultural relics classified this time, the two inscriptions "Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall" and "Yuhuatai Martyrs Monument" written by Comrade Deng Xiaoping are particularly eye-catching.

The two inscriptions were written with a brush, and the handwriting was vigorous and forceful, both measuring 55 cm x 19.7 cm.

The words engraved on the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall and the monument are based on these two inscriptions.

A gentle woman with short ears and short hair is sitting in front of the piano, and on the piano stand behind her is a photo of a handsome young man. This is a special group photo of Lilac Martyr and his lover Ale (Le Yuhong).

As the only "group photo" of the two, this time it was also rated as a second-class cultural relic.

In Yuhuatai, the story of the martyr Lilac is well known.

Lilac was originally an abandoned baby, born in Changshu, Suzhou in 1910, and named "White Lilac" after being adopted.

During her studies at Soochow University, Lilac and her classmates were acquainted with each other and fell in love with each other.

In 1932, not long after Lilac and Le Yuhong got married, they were arrested when they went to Peiping to perform a secret mission and died in the same year.

Due to the sinister environment of the underground struggle, the couple never took a group photo before their lives.

Until 2009, Le Yuhong's family discovered this photo while renovating the old house, and donated it to Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall in 2010.

"The shade of the river, don't forget that I am an innocent girl; the sea is vast, remember that I am a heroic warrior. Move forward hand in hand, life and death are of one mind, love is cultivated in spring..." Zhao Liangzhang, newly collected by Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall in 2021 The manuscript of the score "Meng" composed by the martyr and his friend Xue Jiemin, through the voice of a couple, describes the feelings of home and country of the anti-Japanese soldiers. This time it was rated as a second-class cultural relic.

This precious manuscript was written by Xue Jiemin himself, and it also solved a mystery that has been unsolved for more than 70 years: in the original songs of martyr Zhao Liangzhang, the frequently appeared lyricist "Haiyan" is his classmate, friend and hidden hero. Martyr Xue Jiemin.

The relevant person in charge of the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall told reporters that in recent years, the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall has vigorously carried out collection collection work.

So far, Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall has collected 19 first-class cultural relics/set, 109 second-class cultural relics/set, and 482 third-class cultural relics/set.

In the next step, they will further make good use of these "red families" by holding exhibitions, social education activities, etc.
