Three dances were on the final program - chosen by the participants themselves.

A chance to shine in other words.

And the two finalists Eric Saade and Filip Dikmen shone brightly, the ten-point spades went hot from the start.

Dikmen's introductory tango gave full pot.

"You're mastering this as if you did nothing else," said Ann Wilson.

Eric Saade's samba also got three tens of the judges, who wondered how he could look so calm when it comes to most.

Wilson moved to tears

When the two standard dances were completed, the pairs were equally in points and it was clear that the final show numbers would determine where the ice cream shoe ended up.

- Here the rules are simple: the audience should be offered a colorful experience, Tony Irving announced.

Filip Dikmen and Linn Hegdal's fiery dance moved Ann Wilson to tears.

Eric Saade and Katja Luján Engelholm danced to Saade's own music, finished in a mini pool and received standing ovations from both the jury and the audience.

- It is difficult to take in what I have just been through.

It was the most advanced and interesting show number I have ever seen, said Dermot Clemenger.

"Has mostly been a nerve wreck"

When the viewers' votes were counted, it was finally Eric Saade who got to lift the ice cream shoe in a final that was described by jury chairman Irving as "a legendary experience".

- It is not possible to describe this in words, we have only been fighting for ten weeks and dance for dance has tried to make an impression, says Eric Saade.

He pays tribute to his dance partner Katja Luján Engelholm and says that he has developed "several miles" under her leadership.

- After everything she put up with with me, I really wanted her to be able to lift this glass shoe.

He describes tonight's show number as the highlight of the "Let's dance" journey.

- For the first time I have been able to enjoy and have some fun.

I have not had so much fun before because I have mostly been a nervous wreck, says Saade and laughs.
